Where: Agent 284, 284 Smith St Collingwood
Getting there: Catch the 86 tram that runs from Bundoora to the Docklands via Bourke St, the venue is the city side of Johnston St and we’ll have it all to ourselves. For more options and details visit http://ptv.vic.gov.au ( http://ptv NULL.vic NULL.gov NULL.au)
Film Victoria have just announced the lastest round of funding (http://www NULL.film NULL.vic NULL.gov NULL.au/funding/games) and Clara Reeves, the Manager of Games, Digital Content and Animation will give us a brief rundown on it and be available to answer any questions you may have.
Then we’ll dive right into to a Post PAX Panel, including exhibitors, speakers, attendees and enforcers, to talk about the highs and lows of Australia’s first ever PAX.
Introducing your panel:
Chair: That’d be me (Giselle, I was there as a speaker, I guess)
Exhibitors: Loki Davidson (Wander) and Kamina Vincent (Tin Man Games)
Speaker: Nathan Antony (Derris-Kharlan)
Enforcer: Lachlan Carlile
Attendee: Amelia Laughlan
We’ll have a few discussion points to work from, but as always encourage audience participation in the conversation. Feel free to send questions the panel’s way before the night via the Facebook event (https://www NULL.facebook NULL.com/events/421957624586565/).
The kitchen won’t be open, but the bar will be (with both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks to cater to your preference). There may even be some door prizes, so don’t miss out on a night of networking, sharing, reminiscing and getting the goss. It’ll be worth the short trip from the CBD.
